We are all familiar with the Boy Scout motto "Be Prepared".
In fact, we subscribe to that state of readiness for our
scouting children. However, adults who take the same action
in the event of an emergency are view with suspicion. Often
they are vilified as "prepeppers, survivalist, or weirdos. How
